Our famous Hojichai is finally available for home after enjoying success as our signature original drink from our humble beginnings in 2018 at Haiku Cafe. Enjoy Japanese comfort in a cup with roasty green tea, warming spices and mellow sweetness. Using Japanese Hojicha tea leaves imported from Shizuoka prefecture from the foothills of Mount Fuji, combining with clove, cardamom, cinnamon, and home-made kuromitsu sweet syrup, enjoy a unique and original tea blend.

Low Caffeine | Relaxing | Vegan | Gluten Free
Hot Brew Brewing Notes:
- Boil 250ml of hot water
- Place 20g (3 tbsp) of Hojichai to a teapot
- Steep with the hot water for 3 minutes
- Strain into your favourite cup
Stovetop Brewing Notes:
- Place 20g (3 tbsp) of Hojichai into a small stove pot
- Add 240ml of your favourite milk, add honey if you wish
- Heat very slowly, stirring until hot
- Strain into your favourite cup
Iced Hojichai Brewing Notes:
- Place 30g (4 tbsp) of Hojichai and a touch of honey to a jug
- Add 170ml (1/2 cup) of hot water to jug and steep for 3 minutes
- Prepare 200ml of your favourite milk with ice in a glass
- Strain over ice and stir
*We recommend and serve oat or soy milk with a dash of honey
