Shipping policy
At Haiku Future, we strive to get your Japanese groceries to you as quickly and safely as possible. We ship domestically across Australia and internationally to New Zealand.
1. Shipping Rates & Calculations
We use Australia Post (My Post Business) to provide real-time, weight-based shipping rates.
- Domestic (Australia): Standard shipping starts from $9.00 AUD. Rates are calculated at checkout based on the total weight of your order, including a standard 0.2kg allowance for protective packaging to ensure your items arrive in perfect condition.
- International (New Zealand): Standard shipping starts from $18.67 AUD (up to 500g total weight).
- Other International: For shipping to addresses outside of AU/NZ, please email sales@haikufuture.com for a custom quote.
2. Handling & Dispatch Time
- Coffee Orders: We aim to dispatch freshly roasted coffee within 1 business day.
- All Other Orders: We aim to process and ship all other items within 2 business days.
- Please note: During peak holiday periods or sales, handling times may extend slightly. We will always communicate any significant delays.

Note: Deliveries to Western Australia, Northern Territory, and rural/remote areas may take slightly longer than metro eastern seaboard estimates.
4. Tracking Your Order
Every order includes full tracking. Once your order is dispatched, a tracking number will be sent to the email address provided at checkout. You can monitor your delivery via the Australia Post website or app.
