Fuji, known for its deep, umami filled flavour and brillaint green, nutured from volcanic soil and the freshest mountain water from Fuji itself. Our premium and specialty Fuji Yama Matcha features an elegant flavour profile that includes balance of bitter and sweet, satisfying umami, and a sharp, refreshing lift. The Fuji Yama (meaning Fuji mountain) is special, crafted from tea leaves harvested during the season's first pick, distinguised by its vibrant green colour and delicate astringency.
The Fuji Yama Story
Fuji Yama Matcha is made from 50% Yabukita tea leaves, a Shizuoka prefecture original cultivar and 50% superior Okumidori leaves. Yabukita, known for its balance and its versatility, it features a mix of umami, sweetness, light astringency and is considered the benchmark of Japanese tea quality. Fuji Yama Matcha is cleaner, smoother, with rich umami notes and a mellow flavour profile. Subtle fruitiness and deep vibrant green make this the premium drink for the matcha enthusiast.

We ensure our producer uses only the youngest leaves coupled with longer periods of shading, to deliver sweetness over astringency. Haiku Matcha is produced using the jet milling process for finer powder for finer cups of tea.

Our Matcha, alongside with our Hojicha and Genmaicha Powders are air freighted in from Japan at peak freshness. We rely directly on tea farmers, rather than trading companies, paying our producers the right price for the right quality.

Matcha Latte Brewing Notes:
1. Gently sift 4 grams (1.5 teaspoon) of Matcha powder in a small bowl or mug
2. Add 2 grams of sugar to the bowl (or your preferred sweetener)
3. Pour 40 grams of 80°c water and whisk with a chasen whisk until smooth
4. Pour 180 grams of hot milk (65°) and enjoy!
Iced Matcha Latte Brewing Notes:
1. Gently sift 5 grams (2 teaspoon) of Matcha powder in a small bowl or mug
2. Add 2.5 grams of sugar to the bowl (or your preferred sweetener)
3. Pour 40 grams of 80°c water and whisk with a chasen whisk until smooth
4. Add a few ice cubes
5. Pour in 180 grams of cold milk and enjoy!
