This is part of our premium tea range directly shipped from Shizuoka Tea Garden, based in the famous tea growing prefecture of Japan, Shizuoka. Shizuoka Tea Garden carefully selects the best tea from nearby plantations, employing a unique post-heating process to develop a very deep and delicious steamed tea.
Hojicha is green tea roasted over high heat to produce a very distinctive aroma. You may enjoy a light, refreshing taste with little bitterness. This tea is low in caffeine for a great night cap before bed. Enjoyed hot or cold and can be made into a Hojicha latte.
